TV Host Under Fire For Comparing Gay Marriage and ISIS

Asher’s Bakery just lost a court case steming from when they refused to make a cake with a message supporting same sex marriage. The bakery, who deliver across Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom, had argued that creating cake with the image of Sesame Street character’s Bert and Ernie and the message ‘Support Gay Marriage’ was against their Christian beliefs.

Nolan said people who were ofended by a refusal from  abakery should just boycott the shop. Nolan said; “just never go back to that shop”, and “probably say to all of your gay friends don’t go there…”

Nolan then went on to compare a “support gay marriage” cake to one supporting ISIS, the terrorist organisation which has recently been making headling for killing gay people by throwing them from buildings or stoning them to death.

Nolan said: “What about if someone walked in and said I want a cake and I want the whole Islamic State [ISIS] on it, and how I support them killing our people.”

TV station ITV has recieved a barrage of complaints calling for the panelist to offer an apology or be sacked.

Its not the first time Coleen Nolan has been offside with the LGBTIQ+ community, back in 2007 she said she would never accepy gay men adopting children.

Nolan first came to prominence as one of the Nolan Sisters, a family based girl group from Ireland who had a string of hits in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. Their hit tunes include ‘Gotta Pull Myself Together’ and ‘I’m in the Mood for Dancing’.

Broadcast ITV has not commented on the calls for Nolan to be sacked.
