A Court in the United Arab Emirates has upheld a six month jail sentence for two men who had been accused of sodomy.
The two men were appealing their sentence after claiming that they were coerced y police into confessing the crime.
Police reported that there was forensic evidence that the men had had sex.
The two men, who are both Muslim, have not been named. Both will face deportation from the UAE at the conclusion of their sentence. The conservative Islamic country has a range of penalties for homosexual acts ranging from a month in prison to a death sentence.
