The workshop is free and will take place at the ABC Studios from Monday 10th to Thursday 13th December 2018.

The course aims to provide an entry level overview to making and developing stories. It will establish an achievable framework where participants will be empowered to create their own content.

The four-day workshop, will provide a hands-on introduction to the basics of filmmaking led by Dev Hasan. Dev Hasan is an ex-Perth Cinematographer, Filmmaker and Lecturer based in Sydney. He has been working in the Australian Film and Television Industry for over 18 years.

Participants will develop a concept, plan the production, record on camera and then edit into a short film. On the last day the short films will be showcased in a final screening presented to the class.

The workshop is introductory in nature and is not suitable for people who are enrolled in or completing screen or media studies at a tertiary level.
