As new fashion trends continue to emerge this year, StyleAID will once again lead the pack in fashion fundraising events.
The catwalk at STYLEAID will be the first cab off the fashion rank in showcasing our featured designers’ spring/summer ranges for 2009/2010. Fashion trends for the coming year are moving towards simple structures with clean lines and this is the first (and in some cases the only) chance that people in Perth will get to see these amazing designs – all while supporting the work of the WA AIDS Council!
Now in it’s twelfth year, StyleAID will be paring back to its simplest forms in 2009 to showcase the amazing depth of WA design talent. This doesn’t, however, mean that any of the great things that StyleAID guests have come to rely on will be missing.
There will still be the usual amazing fashion from the hottest and best West Australian designers – as well as some sensational emerging design talent to follow on from the talent that was showcased last year. There will be an amazing meal created by the head chefs at Burswood Entertainment Complex and great wines matched with each course. Also not to be missed is ABSOLUT vodka for all to enjoy, the renowned STYLEAID gift bag, an auction full of the most stunning items and performances never before seen in Perth.
A raft of new sponsors will join those returning again in 2009. Building on over $600,000 raised in the past 11 years, StyleAID aims to raise further much needed funds for the WA AIDS Council’s important work in the community here in Perth.
StyleAID has been one of the annual highlights that our community has come together for, both to raise funds and have a great night out. Fashion has always been synonymous with the GLBTI community so, with the theme White On White, expect to see the whitest of white outfits really making a statement.
The ticket price remains at $200 inc. GST on tables of 10. There are also a limited number of VIP tables available – but be warned – they will go fast with half of them have already been pre-booked for this year. StyleAID 2009 is on Friday, July 31, in the Grand Ballroom at the Burswood Entertainment Complex.
