In an interview Reid has indicated that the next series will include another couple who’ll be added to the mix.

The series is based on the Game Changer series of novels written by Reid. She says for the second series some of the characters from the sixth book in the series will be included.

The second season will be set 10 years after Rozanov and Hollander first met, and will look at the changing acceptance of gay people within the sport of Ice Hockey.

The addition of a third couple will see two new cast members joining the show. The next series is expected to be filmed later this year and be on our screens in 2027.

This week star Hudson Williams who plays Shane Hollander appeared on The Tonight Show and chatted about the shows breakout success.

“For a show about hockey there’s a lot of pucking.” Fallon joked in his opening monologue, before suggesting Williams was now the hottest film star from Canada.

In the interview Williams said how the big the show had become had not yet sunk in and noted that it was lot too long ago he was holding down a side job as a waiter.

The actor also spoke about the challenges of shooting the shows intimate scenes, and how he and co-star Connor Storrie quickly became close friends on set.

Williams also said his understanding was the second season would be telling a story about external battles, while the first season was about internal battles.
