Perth Pride Choir is bringing the Out & Loud Choral Festival to our city for the first time later this year, and tickets are now on sale for a headline event.
The Out & Loud Gala will be held on Friday, 20 November at the iconic Winthrop Hall, featuring 400 singers from Australia, New Zealand, Timor-Leste and around the globe.
The Gala will host the world premiere of two brand new works. Acclaimed Noongar composer Aaron Wyatt, whose music explores a sense of place and cultural connection, while New Zealand composer Anthony Young will offer a comtemporary voice with Wander-Light.
Young was the winner of the festival’s choral competition, announced last year. A highly experienced composer, based in Auckland, NZ, his works have been performed by the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, the New Zealand & Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras, Tapestry New Opera Works (Toronto), OperaUpClose (London).
The broader festival will also feature workshops, networking events, singing showcases, skills development and of course – a celebration of LGBTIQA+ pride!

Special popup events will also be happening in three locations across the CBD.
The Festival has previously been held in Auckland, Hobart and Canberra, and is the spiritual successor Sydney’s 2001 outing Camp Music.
Out & Loud Festival is coming to Perth from 16 – 20 November 2026. For more, head to the festival website or snap up Gala tickets here.
