Paul Henry, the host of Channel Ten’s Breakfast program has described actor Jeremy Renner as looking like a ‘nancy boy.’

Henry and his co-host Kathryn Robinson were discussing the new film The Bourne Legacy which stars Renner. The hosts compared Renner to Matt Damon the star of the previous movies.

Henry described Damon as ‘a man that men wanted to be, and woman wanted to be with’ before describing Renner as looking like a ‘Nancy Boy.’

Nancy Boy is a homophobic slur that was popular in usage from the 1950’s through to the 1970’s.

Channel Ten were unable to provide comment prior to OUTinPerth going to press.
