The 36 year old former teen heart throb has told NOW Magazine that he’s embarrassed that it’s taken him so long to come out;

“Part of me is almost embarrassed that it’s taken me this long to publicly say I’m gay.”

Last year Kavana auditioned for the UK version of ‘The Voice’ but didn’t make it past the auditions round.

Six months ago the singer was unemployed and on the dole, but now his fortunes have begun to change. Kavana is part of a new show in the UK called ‘The Big Reunion’.

On the show he’s teamed up with other 90’s pop stars to form a super group. Appearing alongside Kavana in the group 5th Story are Adam Rickett, Kenzie from Blazin’ Squad, Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers.
