Gay Men More Likely To Have Unsafe Sex With Attractive Partners

Safe-Sex-StoryA new study has revealed that gay men are more likely to have unsafe sex when their partner is deemed attractive.

The UK based study found that 94% of men said they were more likely to have unsafe sex with “a good looking guy”.

The study conducted by the University of Westminster and published by Pink News also revealed that 80% of the men surveyed had had unprotected sex with a stranger.

Of the 160 men surveyed 70% reported that they found sex without a condom to be more pleasurable.

Students at the University are also trying to raise awareness that HIV and other STI’s are still a danger to gay men in 2014 and have called for more funding to preventative education campaigns.

Another survey run in London by the magazine Gay Times recently showed that one in ten men in London we unaware of their HIV status.
