Big Gay Out

Big Gay OutThe Court Hotel has done it again. On Saturday March 31st, they opened their doors at 4pm for the Big Gay Out. Claire Clarke, the 18-year-old who stole the show at Fairday last October, kicked off the live performances in the Overflow at 6pm. People slowly trickled in during the poppy performances by Absolute Kylie and James Kannis, Courtney Act, gender illusionist, impressed the crowd with a witty cabaret show and some fabulous singing (yes, that was her voice) before the Sydney-based headliners Reel Sessions came on for a fusion performance of dance, funk, pop and soul. By midnight, the fashionably late hordes had arrived and were looking to groove. The outdoor DJ had a packed floor of sweaty bodies and plenty of flesh shaking it on the tables. With some genuine booty shaking, another successful Big Gay Out was in full swing.
