Fiona Kalaf steps down as CEO of Lifeline

Lifeline WA has announced that CEO Fiona Kalaf will be stepping down from her leadership role in early 2016.

Ms Kalaf has accepted a new role as the CEO of Youth Focus. Youth Focus is an independent West Australian not-for-profit working to stop youth suicide.

Kate Chaney, the Chair of Lifeline WA”s board praised Ms Kalaf’s contribution to the organisation during her four years in the role.

“During her four years as the CEO of Lifeline WA, Fiona has made a tremendous contribution to our role as a vital, valued and respected leader of suicide and crisis support services in Western Australia.” Ms Chaney said.

“Under her leadership, the 13 11 14 call answer rate has more than doubled, online crisis chat and financial counselling services have been introduced and Lifeline WA has developed the Mental Wealth Series through a partnership with the Australian Institute of Management WA.”

Ms Kalaf will commence her new role at Youth Focus in February 2016.
