Workshops on Men's Bits and Pick-up Lines

Project X is rolling out two workshops in April and June. They are designed to be fun and informal and also provide participants with plenty of useful skills and information about sex between men and cruising in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.

Nitty Gritties is an all time favourite. If you want the most out of your sex life, this is the course for you. It’s a little bit naughty and a lot of fun. It covers all the nuts and bolts of sex between men. This course starts on April 20 and runs on Wednesday evenings for 5 weeks. The topics covered include male anatomy and physiology, sexual techniques, sexual communication and negotiation, HIV and STIs, sexual health maintenance, safer sex and drug use, multiple orgasms, orgasm control, intimacy and massage.

Have you been to a sauna or backroom and need some more effective pick up techniques, or maybe you have always been curious about trying your luck but aren’t quite sure what to expect? Cruising 101 is a great opportunity for you to find these things out in a safe and supportive context. It’s a 5 week course starting June 7. In this course, participants learn better and, more importantly, safer cruising skills – online, at clubs and pubs and at sex-on-premises venues. With a recent spate of beat violence, this is a timely course to attend. You can chat about your cruising techniques, compare it with fellow participants and have a laugh along the way. And, there is even a field trip to try out your new skills.

If you are interested in attending either of these very popular and fun workshops contact the WA AIDS Council for more details. Note down these dates in your diary – registration closes for Nitty Gritties on April 13 and Cruising 101 on May 31. For more information on these and other courses, or to register, email gtsai@waaids.com or call 9482 0000.
