Hayes has added his name alongside Kylie Minogue and fiance Joshua Sasse, country icon Dolly Parton, Scissor Sister’s frontman Jake Shears, actress Margot Robbie, Natalie Imbruglia, Ellen DeGeneres and a host of other celebrities who have called on the Australian government to take action on marriage equality.

It’s not the first time Hayes has shown her a vocal supporter of marriage equality, back in June the singer published an open letter to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull calling on him to show some leadership.
