Well hello Dumbledore, Jude Law cast as famous wizard

Heart-throb actor Jude Law will play a younger version of Harry Potter wizard Dumbledore in the next Fantastic Beasts film.

Law will play a younger version of the character previously played by veteran actors Richard Harris and Michael Gambon.

He will star opposite Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald, Dumbledore’s teen friend who turns into one of the great evil wizards of the Harry Potter world.

The internet has welcomed Law’s casting with the hashtags #Yumbledore and #Dumbledamn gaining popularity.

The first film in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series was a great success and the initial plan to make three films in the prequel series has been expanded to five.

Filming on the second film is due to commence in August 2017.
