The Fremantle International Street Arts Festival (FISAF), will be returning to the streets of Fremantle this Easter long weekend to mark its 20th year.
This unique Festival amplifies the Fremantle experience to a whole new level, with an eclectic mix of high-calibre artists performing throughout the city’s streets, restaurants, bars and parks from Good Friday to Easter Sunday.
The festival brings together buskers, street theatre, bands, local pop-up bars and delicious eateries each year and there’s an interesting mix of world-class entertainers involved in this year’s festivities.
Dutch theatre group Bird Men, and their gigantic roving birds will invade the streets of Fremantle. These colourful beings are impressive by day, and spectacular by night. While Canadian foursome What’s Next is four male acrobats from Canada, in their physical peak, who accomplish amazing and death-defying stunts.
Another acrobatic troupe is SHUDE. This amazing duo juggle not only strange objects, but their relationship too. Partners from Finland, SUHDE promise to captivate the crowds with heart-stopping acrobatics.
British group Nudes is also making their way to the street of Fremantle, there sure to catch everyone’s eye.
The suave and debonair Charlie Caper will be showing of his magic skills on the streets, while the Kif Kif Sisters use a combination of magic and puppetry in their performances. While Katie Wright Dynamite is the queen of the hula-hoop.
