The Centre for Stories will be hosting a celebration of Bright Lights No City this Thursday night. The project documents stories from LGBTQIA+ youth across regional WA.

The storytellers will share their tales at the Centre’s Northbridge location on May 17th to mark International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia.

The stories were formed under the guidance of Oral Storytelling Trainer, Sisonke Msimang, and Writing Expert, Susan Midalia.

Those who are unable to attend the event will be able to experience the series of five oral, and four written stories, on the Centre for Stories’ website.

Bright Lights No City will launch at the Centre for Stories this Thursday May 17th from 6:30pm. Tickets and more information available from centreforstories.com
