Cher reveals she's got a whole album of ABBA songs to share

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again opens in cinemas today and audiences will get to see Cher singing two ABBA songs in the musical movie. Cher sings ABBA’s huge hit Fernando, and also leads the cast in a rousing rendition of Super Trouper in the films finale.

In an interview with Kathy Lee Gifford the iconic singer announced that she’s actually recorded an while album of ABBA tunes.

“After I did Fernando, I thought, it would really be fun to do an album of ABBA songs. So I did.” Cher revealed. The singer said she’d put her own unique twist on many of the songs.

Which ABBA tunes are on Cher’s new album is unknown and no release date has been given, but Australian audiences might be the first to get to see the singer perform so of the songs when she tours Australia in October.

After performing at Mardi Gras earlier this year Cher is coming back to tour Australia and playing a show at the Perth Arena on Friday 12th October!

It will be the legendary singer’s first tour of Australia in thirteen years and the shows will see her celebrate her career that has spanned six decades.

Cher’s tour will kick of in Newcastle in late September before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney.
