Tkay Maidza is back and heading to Jack Rabbit Slims

It’s no secret that the OUTinPerth team are huge fans of Tkay Maidza, the South Australian musician appeared on our cover all the way back in 2014. We’ve been fans of her work since she was stompin’ her feet like a Brontosaurus.

So we’re excited to get the news that she’s got a brand new track Flexin featuring Duckwrth and she’s heading west to kick off a new tour with a show at Jack Rabbit Slims on Friday 7th September. Support will come from Kwame + Arno Faraji.

After her WA show she’ll be heading to The Fat Controller in Adelaide on Saturday 8th September, the next week catch her at Howler in Melbourne on Friday 14th September, and she’ll be at the Brisbane Festival the following day. Finally she’ll play a show at the Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney on Saturday 22nd September.

Check out Tkay Maidza’s new tune below.
