PFLAG needs your help to continue delivering services

PFLAG – the Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays – desperately need an injection of funds to allow the group to continue providing support services.

The organisation which is completely staffed by volunteers offerings support to parents and other people who are processing a family member or close friend coming out as gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender.

The offer regular meetings, a telephone line services that people can call, and a website that answered many of the frequently asked questions by parents and friends.

The group have set up a GiveNow page to allow community members to give a one off donation or a regular contribution to help fund the groups work.

The group is also looking for new members to join its management committee, as while many people access their services, few are willing to give time to the organisation and help other parents adjust to their child’s coming out experience.
