'The Good Fight' returns to SBS for its third season

The Good Fight, the spin-off from the long running series The Good Wife returned to SBS this week for its third season. If you missed the first episode it’s now available on SBS On-Demand.

The series opening focussed on a #meetoo story, and saw the return of Christine Baranski’s lawyer Diane Lockhart, and the staff of law firm Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart.

Joining the cast in 2019 is Michael Sheen who plays Roland Blum, a lawyer who works with Luca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) on a murder trial. Sheen is best known for his roles in the film Frost / Nixon and for playing British Prime Minister Tony Blair in a trio of films including The Queen.

The first episode didn’t give queer character Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) much to do, except look cool in sunglasses, hopefully she’ll feature more prominently in future episodes.

Coming up in this season will be a musical episode where all the characters break into song.

The Good Fight airs on SBS at 9:30pm on Wednesdays, catch up on episodes on SBS On Demand.
