Long running US series Shameless returns for it’s 10th season this November and features the return of queer couple Ian and Mickey.

During the ninth season of the show actor Cameron Monaghan cut back his commitment to Shameless because he was appearing in Gotham at the same time. The trailer for the new season sees the actor back on board but still in prison with boyfriend Mickey.

This outing will be the first without leading actress Emmy Rossum who played oldest sister Fiona Gallagher. After nine seasons Fiona jetted off to a brighter future. So expect to see more storylines featuring the other siblings.

Monaghan isn’t the only actor on the show pulling double duty. Emma Kenney, who plays Debbie Gallagher also appears on Roseanne spin-off The Connors. 

The show is based on the British series of the same name that ran for 11 seasons.
