Impressively Armstrong’s musical performance involved theatrically shooting a member of the audience, typing him up on stage and breaking a stage prop bottle over his head.

Close competition came from Fay Rocious who delivered an impressive portrayal of Mrs Lovett from Sweeney Todd.

Judges Barbie Q, Champagne and Val Qaeda (Val Nourished) gave all the contestants some fierce criticism. Barbie Q chastised three contestants who all chose music from Chicago, Val questioned Perri Oxide’s massive eyebrows and Fay Rocious was praised for not doing a Beyonce song for once.

At the end of the competition’s first round Aleas Armstrong was declared the winner, while new drag queen Carmen Rey Atcha was knocked out. Next week the competitors will have to deliver groups shows and a comedy number.
