ARTBAR 2015 line-up is here!

San CiscoThe Art Gallery of Western Australia have released their list of performers scheduled for the 2015 season of ARTBAR.

ARTBAR is a late night series presented by the gallery which hosts local and international musical talent in conjunction with their regular visual art exhibitions. The main gallery is open prior to the musical performance, allowing patrons to peruse the featured exhibition and enjoy the food and refreshments available.

This year’s guests include Sydney five-piece The Preatures, Perth darlings San Cisco and Claire Bowditch will return to WA with The Royal Jelly Dixieland Band.

Guy PearceMulti-talented actor/director Guy Pearce is also set to debut his musical prowess on the west coast, alongside Powderfinger alum Darren Middleton, performing a selection of songs from each other’s catalogues.

Each of these artists will perform during AGWA’s exhibition of ‘Treasure Ships: Art in the Age of Spices’, with the exception of The Preatures, which will support the WA Indigenous Art Awards.
