Singer Beth Ditto has released a second track from her debut album Fake Sugar.
We Can Run showcases Ditto’s powerful voice, while the video tells the story of two young girls who have runaway.
Ditto announced her band Gossip had broken up in 2016, and has since gone on to record her first solo album. She previously released an EP back in 2011.
Unlike the dance-pop of Gossip’s records Ditto explores southern soul on her new album, drawing comparisons to artists like Fleetwood Mac, Suicide and Paul Simon.
