The production is a collaboration between Black Swan, Perth Festival and DADAA. The season runs from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 31 March, 2019.

You Know We Belong Together is described as a story of love; that force of nature that strikes like lightning into our hearts.

Family, friends and lovers are all part of Julia Hales’ deeply personal account of her experiences as a daughter, actor, dreamer and person with Down syndrome. She brings with her the voices and aspirations of a community rarely seen on stage in an uplifting performance with video, dance and song.

Artistic Director Clare Watson believes that ‘’while this is a play about Down syndrome that calls with no uncertainty for inclusivity, understanding and better representation of disability on screen, it is also a completely universal story about love, about loss, about family and about friendships.”

Book tickets to see the show from Black Swan State Theatre Company and see what else they have planned for 2019.
