DVD of Madonna's Rebel Heart tour will be out in September

If you didn’t get the chance to see Madonna when she toured Australia last year, fear not the DVD of the her phenomenal live show will be available in September.

The film of the highly successful show aired on US cable TV last year and fans have been eagerly awaiting a DVD release.

Madonna:Rebel Heart Tour will be released on digital download, DVD and blu-ray complete with bonus content on September 15th.

The DVD and blu-ray versions will also ocme with an audio CD of highlights from the tour. The Material Girl will also release a stand-alone live album featuring 22 songs from tour, available on double CD and digital download.

OUTinPerth caught one of the superstar’s Sydney performances and the show filled with elaborate staging, tons of dancers, and some of Madonna’s greatest ever songs was mind blowing.

The film was recorded around the world and features both live and behind the scenes material, as well as previously unreleased footage culminating with performances at the Sydney shows.

The film is co-directed by Danny B. Tull and Nathan Rissman, both of whom have worked extensively with Madonna on her feature films and tour movies.
