Erasure go classical with re-working of 'World Be Gone'

Erasure’s seventeenth album World Be Gone came out early last year, and while their not topping the charts like they did in the early ’90s, Vince Clarke and Andy Bell still have a loyal audience who eagerly await each release from the band.

Now the band are set to release a new reworking of the album, where the songs are deconstructed and given a classical makeover.

World Beyond sees the tracks from last years album transformed into lush orchestral versions through a collaboration with Echo Collective.

The new recording is available on a wide range of formats, including a cassette release – for your Walkman.

A video’s just been released of the new version of Just a Little Love.
