GLCS – do you know a closet that needs opening?

Gay and Lesbian Community Services (GLCS) are offering our award-winning training program ‘Opening Closets’ to workers, employers and policy-makers in the not-for-profit sector. Expert trainer Sandra Norman has many strategies and tips for making your workplace more inclusive of and accessible to clients and employees of diverse sexuality, sex and gender.

The full day training session will take you through recently revised Equal Opportunity legislation, and how to develop policies and practices to cover your responsibilities. You will be challenged to think about how common myths, homophobia and transphobia, or your attitudes impact on your colleagues or clients. Come along and discuss how to promote your service as LGBTIQ friendly, and what that really means.
