Help The Gay and Lesbian Archives of WA Celebrate Our History

g a l a w a - o i p

Are you interested in WA LGBTI history? The Gay and Lesbian Archives of WA (GALAWA) was set up in the late 1990s. The collection is housed at Murdoch University Library and includes the publications pictured and much more; including letters, papers, records, badges, photos.

The organisation has been inactive for several years and the collection not as widely used as it could be. It is time to work out what to do next. If you want to be part of making these archives more accessible and shaping the future of the collection; now is the time to put your hand up.

The organisation aims to have a public meeting in early May 2015. Contact Jo Darbyshire on jodarbyshire@gmail.com, Guy Gomeze on guy.g@iinet.net.au or Reece Plunkett on r.plunkett@iinet.net.au or 0434 997 376 to register your interest.
