Kylie Minogue is bringing her ‘Golden’ tour to Australia and will play an outdoor concert in Perth at St James Mitchell Park on the South Perth foreshore.

The Australian tour will be a mix of indoor and outdoor venues, but for the Perth show Kylie will be performing under the ‘A Day on the Green’ banner with an outdoor gig on Saturday 9th March.

Kylie’s support act for the tour will be Scissor Sisters’ frontman Jake Shears, who recently released his debut solo album. Shears has also written several songs for Kylie in recent years including her hit I Believe in You. The pair also teamed up for The Other Boys a collaboration with Nervo, so fans might expect some duet action to go down as well.

The Australian tour will begin in Sydney with a show at ICC Sydney Theatre on Tuesday 5th March, Kylie will then head west for A Day on the Green on Saturday 9th March, it’ll be back indoors for the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday 11th March, and then back outside in Melbourne for a show at the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Wednesday 13th March.

There are two more Day on the Green shows, on Saturday 16th MArch Kylie will be playing a show in Bimbadgen, in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley, and finally she’ll be appearing at Sirromet Wines in Mt Cotton, Queensland on Sunday 17th March.

Kylie’s tour will start in Sydney just a few days after the 2019 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, and fans have instantly begun speculating that she might be a guest at the massive parade and party.

Minogue’s 14th album Golden entered the Australian charts in the number one position when it was released earlier this year. Five singles have been released off the record including Dancing, Lifetime to Repair, The Music’s Too Sad Without You, Golden and Stop Me From Falling.

The tour’s set list includes a mix of tracks from her latest album as well as some of Kylie’s biggest hits. The singer last performed in Perth in 2015 when her Kiss Me Once tour was at the Perth Arena.

Tickets for the Perth show go on sale 2pm 19th November from Ticketmaster
