WITHIN

Mangaldas’ piece asks whether the times compel us to look within, compelling audiences to explore and challenge their innermost realms of humanity and brutality, masculinity and femininity, good and evil.

The breathtaking performance is split into two compelling acts, Knotted and Unwrapped.

Knotted explores the raw emotion of brutal events that have rocked contemporary India, while Unwrapped celebrates the classical Kathak dance in unique and exciting ways.

Within will be performed at the State Theatre Centre of WA, 11 – 14 February. Tickets available from PerthFestival.com.au.
