There are reports that organisers are working with Madonna’s representatives to sign the singer for a two song appearance for a rumoured paycheck $1 million.

The singer has been working on a new album, which sees her reteamed with French producer Mirwais who worked on her Music album that was released in 2000. Madonna’s last album was 2014’s Rebel Heart.

So far only one new song has been heard, Madonna debuted a new tune when she performed at New York’s Met Gala in 2018. Eurovision would be a huge television audience for Madonna to reveal a new tune to.

Website YNet is reporting that Canadian-Israeli billionaire Sylvan Adams will foot the bill for Madonna to attend, because he wants this years Eurovision to be one of the most memorable.

There have been calls for the singing competition to be boycotted because it is being held in Israel. Madonna has performed in the country several times in the past.

Justin Timberlake performed at Eurovision 2017 in Stockholm, although he later admitted he didn’t know anything about the singing competition. Australia will be represented by singer Kate Miller-Heidke at this year’s competition.
