Mardi Gras Film Festival

If you’re off over east try doing more than just the parade and party as the Mardi Gras Film Festival running from the 15th of February to the 1st of March has some wonderful screenings. Look out for:

Itty Bitty Titty Committee, a new romantic comedy from Jamie Babbit who brought us the delightful But I’m a Cheerleader.

Quinceanera, winning both the Jury Award and Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival the film is more than just a coming out celebration for Mexican girls.

The German film scholar and journalist Axel Schock will also be visiting Sydney to guide audiences through what appears to be an amazing retrospective journey of German queer cinema from 1919 to the modern day!
