Midsumma Festival 2008 Looking for Performance Artists

Where have we been in the past two decades? Where are we now? How did we get here and where the hell are we going? These are just some of the questions being asked in 2008 by Midsumma, Melbourne’s gay and lesbian peak arts and community organisation, as they turn twenty.

Celebrating two decades, Midsumma has chosen the theme of ‘ARRIVAL’. With the unveiling of the 2008 theme, Midsumma is now seeking expressions of interest for Community Produced Events. Where possible, they encourage the GLBTIQ community to incorporate the theme of ‘ARRIVAL’ and its many interpretations into proposals. Midsumma’s support of community produced events includes:

Expressions of interest and request for application should be forwarded to programdevelopment@midsumma.org.au. The application deadline is September 30, 2007.
