The mother of Beau Lamarre‑Condon has been arrested by New South Wales Police and charged over an alleged attempt to persuade a key witness in the upcoming double‑murder trial of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies to change their evidence.
Coleen Lamarre has been refused bail and will appear in a Sydney court on Thursday.
Former police officer Beau Lamarre‑Condon is awaiting trial over the murders of television presenter Jesse Baird and his partner, Luke Davies. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Homicide detectives have charged Coleen Lamarre with attempting to pervert the course of justice over an alleged attempt to influence a key witness ahead of the high‑profile trial.
Lamarre‑Condon is alleged to have shot Baird and Davies at Baird’s Paddington home in February 2024.
Police allege the 29‑year‑old broke into Baird’s home and shot Baird and Davies with his police‑issued handgun.
It is further alleged that Lamarre‑Condon hid the men’s bodies in the back garden before returning later to move them to a rural location. Lamarre‑Condon and Baird had briefly dated before Baird’s relationship with Davies.
Prior to joining the police force in 2019, Lamarre‑Condon ran a celebrity‑focused blog and was known for tracking down celebrities to be photographed with them. He was dismissed by the Police Commissioner after the murder charges were laid.
Lamarre-Condon’s case will return to court on 29 May.
