Naked Rowing

The University of Warwick’s rowing team first launched a nude calendar in 2009 to raise money for their facilities.

Soon, they became known for getting nude for a good cause. When the team discovered their calendars were popular will the LGBT community, they decided to use their powers to fight homophobia.

The 2015 calendar will be raising money for Sport Allies, a charity co-created by the Warwick rowers that aims to “reach out to young people challenged by bullying, homophobia or low self-esteem”, according to their website.

The Warwick Rowers have captured international attention. Their calendars have been sold in 77 countries and Sir Ian McKellen attended the launch of their last calendar. The team has been well-known on the Internet for some time.

Check out the video below for a sneak peak of their 2015 calendar. It’s not at all safe for work.
