Earth Hour, an environmental initiative that asked businesses and residents to turn off their lights for one hour on 7:30pm on March 31st, inspired the Newtown Hotel to stage a candlelit drag show. The show, entitled DreamGurlz, starred Kitty Glitter, Minnie Cooper and Tess Tickle. As the MC, Vanessa Wagner said, ‘When it comes to Earth Hour, if it’s off, you’re right on’.
