OUTinPerth is excited to share news of our continued online growth.

In September 2016 our website had 33,270 visits an increase of 5% from the previous month. The figure also represents a 35% increase in comparison to the same period in 2015.

Alongside our growing web audience we also have engaged audiences on Facebook with 12,866 page likes and 3,252 Twitter followers. Our Instagram account also has a growing audience with over 2000 followers, achieving 70% growth since the beginning of the year.

In September month we also revived our daily e-news service which is received by 2,274 subscribers.

Our increased growth in the online realm has not had any affect on our monthly print publication which still sees 10,000 copies distributed to over 300 location.

“We’re excited to be delivering a great result for our advertising clients across both our print and online operations.” said Graeme Watson, one of OUTinPerth’s owners.

“While the proposed marriage plebiscite has been a big news story in September, our audience has also been engaged with our coverage of Bisexuality Awareness week, opinion pieces, local community news and cultural events.”

Alongside a massive amount of editorial content created in the last month, the team also held a successful fundraising event that allowed community connection. The disco inspired ‘We Are Family’ event at Nelson’s Pop-Up Bar saw people from all parts of the LGBTIQ community coming together to support to local publication.

The October edition of the magazine will be on the streets soon, the team are now taking advertising bookings for the massive 2016 Pride edition.
