Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the Musical – Original Cast Recording

You’ve got the show mug, key ring, close crop t, and now comes the ultimate must-have – the show CD. I’ve got to admit I haven’t seen the musical, but for those who have and want to relive the experience, this CD is solid gold. Sticking to the storyline of the 1994 Academy Award winning film, this stiletto toe-tapper is a winner not only for the production quality and high-standard singing, but also because no songs have been left out from the stage show. The brainwave of the musical producers to add extra poignant numbers to drive the plot is also a key to its success. Stand-out numbers are Track 6 Venus; Track 21 Boogie Wonderland and the Track 8 Say a Little Prayer.
