The record will be the seventh of the bands career and follows on from 2015’s The Day Is My Enemy.

In a media release the band said the new record is about escapism.

“To us, No Tourists is ultimately about escapism and the want and need to be derailed. Don’t be a tourist—there is always more danger and excitement to be found if you stray from the set path.”

The video for the first tune from the album is reminiscent of many of the band’s earlier videos, while the sound of the record has been described as ‘urgent’.

The bands three long term members, Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim are all involved in the latest album and a number of yet-to-be-announced guest artists also contribute.

The Prodigy enjoyed huge success in the 1990’s with hits including Firestarter, Smack My Bitch Up, Poison, Voodoo People, Everybody in the Place and Charly.

Check out the new tune and go mental dancing around the room.
