Queers for Reconciliation

Q4R had a successful month in March with two initiatives being well received by participants. On the 13th of March, sixteen people attended an introductory Cultural Awareness workshop facilitated by Jim Morrison. The workshop focused on providing background information on Aboriginal history and culture to encourage participants to continue to develop their interest and participation in the reconciliation process.

On the 16th of March, City Farm was rocked by Q4R’s Noongaroke. According to Q4R spokesman Alan Carter, ‘Approximately Seventy people danced and sang their way towards reconciliation’, as Jim Morrison encouraged ‘a large number of people to launch their own singing careers.’
