All over Russia people are making twerking videos to 'Satisfaction'

Last week we shared the report that some Russian air cadets were in hot water over a fun video they posted online.

The clip saw the young cadets twerking in their underwear to Benny Benassi’s 2002 hit Satisfaction. Initially the reaction from authorities and the Russian media was harsh, calling for the students to be expelled and their tutors to be fired. There was even suggestions the students could face charges for promoting gay propaganda.

The commentary had died down though after a slather of videos were posted online recreating the student’s original clip. From fellow students in colleges, to people in housing estates, workplaces, Cheerleaders and Hockey teams, all types of Russians got into some serious twerking.

Soldiers in other countries, including Great Britain, have shown their support by creating their own version of the video.

Here’s some of our favourites.
