This song is a departure from the bubbly pop and electro-rap stylings of his popular single ‘On The Regular’ and follow-up ‘Call It Off’.

Shamir enters ballad territory and flexes his impressive vocal range in ‘Darker’, which is accompanied by an atmospheric video shot by drone in the Joshua Tree Desert.

The song is the latest release from his upcoming album ‘Ratchet’ which will be released on May 19th.
