Sisters To Get New Mother

The Abby of The Black Swan, the Order of The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’s Perth branch, ordained a new Mother in a Mardi Gras ceremony early last month.

Mother Mary Kay Lipstick was bestowed the honour (and enormous title) of The Blessed Sister Royal of the Abby of the Black Swan and says he is looking forward to his time at the helm.

‘I am most excited about the new direction that the Convent of the Abby of the Black Swan will have. All are welcome,’ he said.

‘I am looking forward to the challenge that the Order faces, especially in regards to the acceptance of GLBTI people as part of main stream churches.

‘We are all God’s children and should be treated as so.’

Retiring Mother Gretta Amyelletta of The Holy Vapours, will be taking back his title of Sister and is grateful for the support he has received while heading up the order.

‘I feel it is time for a new breath of fresh air and ideas for the Abby and Mother Mary Kay Lipstick is a little cyclone waiting to happen so hold on Dullsville, he will be great for the Abby and Perth,’ he said.
