The Avalanches return with a new tune and interactive web experience

Australian band The Avalanches are back with new music. Fresh track Together arrived to day and it features Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza and Prentiss.

The collective released their acclaimed debut album Since I Left You in 2000, and it was made up of thousands of cut and paste samples. Fans waiting a long time for the promised follow-up, Wildflower arrived in 2016, and the band’s third record came quite quickly – just a four year wait for We Will Always Love You.

Now we’re entering a new era. The clip for the new track features a 3-inch disc and an I-pod going for a stroll.

The band have also shared an intriguing interactive website. Takumi Digital Archives are here to keep your most precious memories safe.
