The Vamps announce new Australian tour

They’ve sold out London’s iconic O2 Arena five times, collaborated with pop idols Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes, launched their own record label and now The Vamps are bringing their Middle of the Night World Tour to Australia.

Britain’s favourite pop-rock quartet will be returning to Australian shores this September and October in celebration of their third studio album Night & Day, which will be out 14 July through EMI Music.

The Vamps are Brad Simpson (lead vocals and guitar), James McVey (lead guitar and vocals), Connor Ball (bass guitar and vocals) and Tristan Evans (drums and vocal).

The band burst onto the scene in 2013, their first three singles Can We Dance, Wild Heart and Last Night from multi-platinum debut Meet The Vamps went to the top of the charts.

Their sophomore LP Wake Up, which came out in  2015, featured more of the groups’ exuberant synth and guitar-based pop. 

The band toured around the world, including a huge show here in Perth in January 2015. Tristan Evans chatted to OUTinPerth and shared the band’s journey to date.

The Vamps third album Night and Day will be a double album project. The first ten tunes will be released on The Night Edition, which will be out 14 July. The second half The Day Edition will be released before the end of the year.

The band will also be bring mates New Hope Club on the tour. The British trio who were one of the first artist signed to The Vamps label Steady Records. Their debut EP Welcome To The Club features breakthrough single Perfume.  

Perth will be the final stop on the tour on Friday October 3rd when the band play HBF Stadium. Tickets go on sale Thursday 15 June.
