Australian Marriage Equality have released a new video outlining their plan to move forward in their campaign for same-sex marriage rights in Australia.

The short video features LGBTQIA+ people professing their readiness for equal marriage rights here in Australia, supplemented by the organisations 3-step plan to enact change.

AME warn that opponents of marriage equality are accumulating funds in a “warchest” to develop a divisive campaign against same-sex marriage.

The organisation have outlined three key steps to combat the opposition and get the government moving. AME national director Rodney Croome says their plan will help make 2016 the year love wins.

“We are charting a path to achieve marriage equality as soon as possible and are not waiting around for a plebiscite to be called,” Mr Croome said.

“I urge all supporters of reform to share our video and let us know how they would like to contribute.”
