Ollie Hunt is back with new track ‘Speedy’

We introduced you to rising music star Ollie Hunt last year and in our interview he told us he’d already recorded a stack of tracks to be released as the follow up to his debut EP.

Now he’s getting ready to put out a new slice of pop, and it’s called Speedy.

When we spoke to Hunt in 2025 he told us the sounds he’s interested in are always changing.

“It actually changes all the time.” he said. “I feel as you grow, obviously your taste changes. Even the music that has just come out is stuff I was recording and writing a year or so ago, so already the sound of the music I’m working on now is still similar, but it’s different already, it continuously changes.

“I feel it’s just how I’m feeling in the moment and how I feel at the time, what I’m enjoying right now, and what feels like the most authentic to me.” he said.

People are definitely getting into the sounds Ollie Hunt is making.

His debut single Running Back made an immediate impact, amassing over 135,000 streams organically with minimal promotion. He followed this with his debut EP, Prelude, which has now surpassed 280,000 streams, showcasing his versatility and emotional depth as an artist. His recent single Ah! has also gained strong traction, surpassing 80,000 streams and continuing to expand his growing audience.

OUTinPerth got a preview of the new song which is a smooth RnB number with an intriguing soundscape over which Hunt delivers a stream of vocals.

The song is ready for pre-save on major streaming and online music services.
