Dyan Tai is back with new tune ‘My Cvnty Business’

Dyan Tai has shared the music video for their latest track My Cvnty Business.

The tune is about autonomy. It is a response to the kind of everyday entitlement that shows up as a question, a stare, or a demand for explanation around what someone’s gender is.

“This track is about telling people to mind their own business. Strangers who like to ask if someone is a boy or a girl, or my favourite question, “where are you really from?”. That’s my business, not theirs,” Tai said.

The artist has worked with director Lucien Jones and cinematographer Liam Coleman to create the visuals that accompany the new song.

“This song is driven by the production, using a vocal chop that forms the lead of the song, then adding baile funk percussion and distorted 808 basslines alongside metallic hyperpop soundscapes. It continues to build but surprises listeners with a funk bridge section,” Tai said, describing their latest work.

Shot in a car park with queer Asian, non-binary drag artists Star Gayze and Guapa, the My Cvnty Business visualiser leans into clown imagery and painted white faces as a deliberate confrontation of gender binaries and racial stereotyping.

The song follows on from Tai’s great 2025 releases Broke Pop Star and King Queen Supreme. Tai is heading back to the UK and Europe for the next few months, where they will be playing some live shows and working on new music.
