Inner-City Town-House Sophistication

It’s rare that a house perfectly executes intimacy, modernism, and grandeur – there’s a three storey house just outside of Perth CBD that does just that. Part of a lavish complex just off Bulwer Street, the house immediately greets you within an inviting open fire place and wood flooring as soon as you step through the front door. Luring you in, the house stretches back to a clean cut kitchen and courtyard. Alternatively, take the stairs to the floating second lounge room, then up another flight to two comfortably sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The open plan designs and simple block colours scream sophistication.

FEATURES TO LOVE

The Location

Throwing distance from Mount Lawley’s coffee strip hot spot as well as the Perth CBD, the team at OUTinPerth have fallen in love with the walking distance from all the best scenes. The inner-city vibe is a massive pull-factor.

Master Bedroom View

The master bedroom has the best city skyline views to offer, the views came totally unexpected (you’re blocked from any skyline views walking into the complex) and make for a charming view both day and night.

Floating Lounge Room

Suspended in the stomach of the house, the area has a couch in the middle, a plasma TV and the option to look down to the remainder of the house from both the back and the front. Although a feature we love, we did wonder whether entertaining in this area would disrupt both above and below.

ON THE DOWNSIDE

The courtyard is a touch small, and would only be able to accommodate a small group of friends or family; it should be noted however that this is very reminiscent of a townhouse design.
